Effects of ganglioside combined with edaravone on hemorheology and nerve defect degree in elderly patients with cerebral infarction
Objective To investigate the effects of ganglioside combined with edaravone on hemorheology and nerve defect degree in elderly patients with cerebral infarction. Methods A total of 86 elderly patients with cerebral infarction admitted from September 2021 to September 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to the parity of admission number, the elderly patients were divided into control group(43 cases)and observation group(43 cases). The control group was treated with edaravone, and the observation group was treated with ganglioside on the basis of the control group. The treatment effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 95.35%,which was higher than 81.40%in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the 1/s,200/s whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity and fibrinogen level in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of C-reactive protein(CRP)and interleukin-6(IL-6)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale(MoCA)score was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Ganglioside combined with edaravone is effective in the treatment of elderly patients with cerebral infarction,it can improve hemorheology, nerve defect degree and cognitive dysfunction degree, reduce inflammatory reaction, and has high safety.
