Application effect of prefabricated fiber post in patients with oral restoration and its influences on periodontal environment and restoration success rate
Objective To explore the application effect of prefabricated fiber post in patients with oral restoration and its influences on periodontal environment and restoration success rate. Methods The clinical data of 130 patients who underwent oral restoration in the stomatology department from June 2018 to June 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into control group and observation group according to different treatment methods, with 65 cases in each group. The control group was treated with cast pure titanium metal post, and the observation group was treated with prefabricated fiber post. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results At 6 months after treatment, the plaque index, gingival sulcus bleeding index and periodontal pocket depth of the two groups decreased, and those in the observation group were lower than the control group(P<0.05).At 1 year after treatment, the restoration success rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After 6 months of treatment, the content of gingival crevicular fluid and the levels of alkaline phosphatase(ALP)and interleukin-6(IL-6)in gingival crevicular fluid of the two groups increased, but those in the observation group were lower than the control group(P<0.05).The restoration satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The prefabricated fiber post in patients with oral restoration has better application effect compared with cast pure titanium metal post,it can effectively improve the periodontal environment, elevate the restoration success rate, and has lighter inflammatory reaction in gingival crevicular fluid and higher restoration satisfaction.
