Application effect of preventive ileostomy through median specimen extraction incision in laparoscopic radical resection of colon cancer and its influences on trauma response and gastrointestinal barrier function
Objective To explore the application effect of preventive ileostomy through median specimen extraction incision in laparoscopic radical resection of colon cancer and its influences on trauma response and gastrointestinal barrier function. Methods A total of 80 patients who underwent laparoscopic radical resection of colon cancer from November 2020 to November 2022 were divided into control group(preventive ileostomy through traditional incision)and observation group(preventive ileostomy through median specimen extraction incision)by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The surgical effects of the two groups were compared. Results The stoma return time interval, first exhaust time and feeding time after operation in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).After operation, the levels of cortisol(Cor),aldosterone(ALD)and adrenocorticotropic hormone(ACTH)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After operation, the levels of endotoxin(ETX),diamine oxidase(DAO)and D-lactic acid in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Reventive ileostomy through median specimen extraction incision in laparoscopic radical resection of colon cancer can shorten the stoma return time interval, the first exhaust time and the feeding time after operation, reduce the traumatic reaction, improve gastrointestinal barrier function, and has high safety.
