Effect of ambroxol hydrochloride combined with azithromycin, budesonide and salbutamol in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia in children and its influences on the levels of inflammatory factors
Objective To investigate the effect of ambroxol hydrochloride combined with azithromycin, budesonide and salbutamol in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia in children and its influences on the levels of inflammatory factors. Methods A total of 96 children with mycoplasma pneumonia who were treated in our hospital from November 2020 to August 2022 were selected as the research objects. The children were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 48 cases in each group. The control group was treated with azithromycin, budesonide and salbutamol, and the observation group was treated with ambroxol hydrochloride on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of interferon-γ(IFN-γ),immunoglobulin E(IgE),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and interleukin-8(IL-8)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),percentage of peak expiratory flow(PEF)to predicted value and tidal volume(VT)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Ambroxol hydrochloride combined with azithromycin, budesonide and salbutamol in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia in children can not only improve the clinical effect, inhibit inflammatory factors, but also effectively ameliorate lung function.
