Application effect of healthy lifestyle intervention in overweight and obesity children
Objective To explore the application effect of healthy lifestyle intervention in overweight and obesity children, and to follow up the weight maintenance,in order to provide a basis for the study of lifestyle intervention in overweight and obesity children. Methods A total of 216 overweight and obesity children aged 9-16 years with the intention of weight loss were recruited as the research objects from July to August 2020.The healthy lifestyle intervention was carried out by using the closed 28 d summer camp. The body shape indexes, metabolic indexes and the obesity composition of boys and girls before and after healthy lifestyle intervention were compared;after 3 years of follow-up,the maintenance of intervention effect was observed. Results After intervention, the weight and body mass index(BMI)of the recruited children were lower than those before intervention(P<0.05).After intervention, the levels of triglyceride, cholesterol and insulin in recruited children were lower than those before intervention(P<0.05);before and after intervention, there was no significant difference in blood glucose level between recruited children(P>0.05).There were no significant differences in the obesity composition among children with different gender before and after intervention(P>0.05).During the 3-years follow-up period, the BMI of overweight and obesity children continued to improve except for one lost visit.Although the weight of normal weight children fluctuated, there was no rebound. Conclusion Healthy lifestyle intervention can effectively reduce the weight of overweight and obesity children and improve the levels of triglyceride and cholesterol in the blood, but it has no obvious effect on blood glucose;during the follow-up period, effective interaction can promote children to maintain a healthy lifestyle,so that the weight loss effect can be maintained.
