Effects of multi-sensory training nursing based on knowledge-attitude-practice model combined with empathy nursing on fear of disease progression and knowledge-attitude-practice of patients after radical mastectomy
Objective To explore the effects of multi-sensory training nursing based on knowledge-attitude-practice model combined with empathy nursing on fear of disease progression and knowledge-attitude-practice in patients after radical mastectomy. Methods A total of 86 patients after radical mastectomy admitted from September 2020 to September 2022 were selected as the research objects, and the patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 43 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was given multi-sensory training nursing based on knowledge-attitude-practice model combined with empathy nursing on the basis of the control group. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of each dimension of Fear of Progression Questionnaire(FoP-Q)in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of knowledge, belief and behavior in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of each dimension of Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Breast(FACT-B)in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The multi-sensory training nursing based on the knowledge-attitude-practice model combined with empathy nursing can not only reduce the fear of disease progression in patients after radical mastectomy, but also improve their knowledge-attitude-practice,which has a positive effect on improving the quality of life after surgery and is worthy of promotion.
