Application effect of quality control circle in reducing the error rate of mixed preparation of neonatal TPN in pharmacy intravenous admixture service
Objective To explore the application effect of quality control circle(QCC)in reducing the error rate of mixed preparation of neonatal total parenteral nutrition(TPN)in pharmacy intravenous admixture service(PIVAS).Methods The QCC management method was used to determine the theme of"reducing the error rate of neonatal TPN mixed preparation".The fishbone diagram and Plato were used to analyze the true causes of the error of neonatal TPN mixed preparation, and the rectification measures were formulated accordingly. Finally, the management effect was evaluated with tangible and intangible results. Results After improvement, the total error rate of neonatal TPN mixed preparation decreased from 5.30%to 1.53%,the error rate of inaccurate suction volume decreased from 1.97%to 1.15%,and the error rate of inaccurate drainage volume decreased from 1.43%to 0.38%;the target compliance rate was 131.82%,and the progress rate was 91.03%.The ability of circle members significantly improved. Conclusion QCC management in PIVAS can effectively reduce the error rate of neonatal TPN mixed preparation, improve the accuracy of neonatal TPN mixed preparation and drug safety.
