Breast cancer(BC)is a malignant tumor that occurs in the breast tissue and is also one of the main causes of cancer-related death. Its malignant progression will have a great impact on the patients'physical and mental health. Therefore, early detection and diagnosis are particularly important.Clinical screening methods for BC mainly include breast self-examination,breast X-ray,breast magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and breast ultrasound.Contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS)is a safe, convenient and reproducible breast imaging method.Because of its advantages of non-radiation,easy operation,no pain, economy and high efficiency,it has gradually become an important BC screening tool and is widely used. This review discusses the application prospect and development direction of CEUS in the diagnosis of BC from the perspective of clinical practice.Through a comprehensive summary of the research progress of CEUS,it is helpful to better understand its advantages and limitations in the diagnosis of BC.According to the comprehensive analysis,CEUS has a broad application prospect in the diagnosis of BC,with high accuracy and sensitivity. It can enhance the detection and qualitative and quantitative analysis of BC,and evaluate the blood supply of BC.However, there are still some limitations. In the future, further research can be carried out on this basis to improve the function and performance of CEUS,improve its reliability in the diagnosis of BC,and provide an important reference for the molecular diagnosis and prognosis of BC.
