A retrospective study of the clinical efficacy of magnetic traction surgical field exposure system assisted three-hole laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy in the treatment of obesity
Objective To explore the safety and effect of magnetic traction surgical field exposure system(MTSS)assisted three-hole laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy(LSG)in the treatment of obesity. Methods The data of 61 obesity patients who underwent MTSS assisted three-hole LSG in the sub-professional group of weight loss and metabolism of hepatobiliary surgery department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University from February 2022 to January 2023 were retrospectively selected. The operation conditions were statistically analyzed, and the body weight indexes and biochemical indexes before and after operation were compared. Results All the 61 patients successfully completed the operation without conversion to open surgery, and no adverse events occurred during and after the operation;the average operation time was(77.93±29.64)min,and the average postoperative hospital stay was(3.17±0.51)d.After operation, the body weight, body mass index(BMI),low density lipoprotein, fasting blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, total bilirubin, aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase and uric acid levels of the patients were lower than those before operation, and the levels of high density lipoprotein and direct bilirubin were higher than those before operation, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion MTSS assisted three-hole LSG is safe and effective in the treatment of obesity. The weight loss effect of patients after operation is obvious, the glucose and lipid metabolism indexes and uric acid levels significantly improved.
