Clinical effect of Kaihoujian spray combined with ceftriaxone sodium for injection in the treatment of children with acute suppurative tonsillitis
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of Kaihoujian spray combined with ceftriaxone sodium for injection in the treatment of children with acute suppurative tonsillitis. Methods A total of 138 children with acute suppurative tonsillitis admitted in our hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, the children were divided into control group(69 cases, ceftriaxone sodium for injection)and study group(69 cases,Kaihoujian spray combined with ceftriaxone sodium for injection). The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the disappearance time of tonsil congestion, purulent secretion and sore throat were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of procalcitonin(PCT),C-reactive protein(CRP),serum amyloid A(SAA),soluble triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells-1(sTREM-1)and CD3+,CD4+in the study group were better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Kaihoujian spray combined with ceftriaxone sodium for injection has obvious effect on the treatment of acute suppurative tonsillitis,it is helpful to shorten the time of symptom disappearance, improve inflammation and immune indexes, and promote the prognosis of the disease, which is worth promoting.
