Effect of self-traction combined with needle knife therapy in the treatment of cervical spondylosis radiculopathy
Objective To explore the effect of self-traction combined with needle knife therapy in the treatment of cervical spondylosis radiculopathy(CSR).Methods A total of 70 CSR patients admitted in our hospital from March 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the research objects.The patients were divided into needle knife group and needle traction group by random number table method,with 35 cases in each group.There were 2 cases in the needle knife group fell off and 4 cases in the needle traction group fell off.Finally,33 cases in the needle knife group completed the study and 31 cases in the needle traction group completed the study.The needle knife group was treated with needle knife therapy,and the needle traction group was treated with self-traction combined with needle knife therapy.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results At 1 and 3 months after treatment,the scores of neck and arm pain and arm and hand numbness in the needle traction group were higher than those in the needle knife group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the needle traction group was higher than that of the needle knife group(P<0.05).At 1 and 3 months after treatment,the Northwick Park Neck Pain Questionnaire(NPQ)score of the needle traction group was lower than that of the needle knife group(P<0.05).Conclusion Self-traction combined with needle knife therapy can alleviate the clinical symptoms of CSR patients,and has good treatment effect.
