Investigation and analysis of 4 326 cases of gynecological diseases among female students in a university
Objective To investigate the incidence of gynecological diseases among female students in a university,to formulate preventive and therapeutic measures,and to carry out targeted reproductive health education.Methods The medical records of 4 326 female students admitted in the gynecology clinic of a university hospital from January 2018 to December 2022 were collected,and the incidence of the disease was analyzed and summarized in terms of age group,sexual behavior and year of onset.Results The top three incidence of gynecological diseases among female students in a university hospital from high to low was menstrual disorder(47.13%),gynecological inflammation(33.66%)and dysmen orrhea(26.61%).The proportions of menstrual disorders and dysmenorrhea in the population with 17-20 years was relatively high(37.37%and 30.67%,respectively),and the proportions of menstrual disorders and dysmenorrhea in the population with 31-35 years was the lowest(12.70%and 11.03%,respectively).The proportion of gynecological inflammation in the sexually active population was relatively high(87.91%).The number of human papillomavirus(HPV)infection was showing an increasing trend year by year.Conclusion Universities should strengthen the comprehensive and systematic reproductive health education for female students in school,and carry out personalized health education according to the physiological characteristics of different age groups,so as to enhance the self-care awareness of female students in school,and ensure their physical and mental health.
