Effect of intra-aortic balloon pump after emergency coronary re-canalization in the treatment of patients with acute myocardial infarction complicated with cardiogenic shock and its influence on survival rate
Objective To analyze the effect of intra-aortic balloon pump(IABP)after emergency coronary re-canalization on the prognosis of patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI)complicated with cardiogenic shock(CS).Methods A total of 140 patients with AMI complicated with CS received in our hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects, and the patients were divided into control group and study group according to the order of admission, with 70 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional therapy+percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI),and the study group was treated with PCI+IABP.The cardiac function indexes, serum myocardial injury indexes, clinical efficacy and survival rate were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the left ventricular end systolic diameter(LVESD)and left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD)in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the left ventricular ejection fractions(LVEF)and cardiac index(CI)were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of cardiac troponin I(cTnI),creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB),blood lactic acid(Lac)and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate and survival rate of the study group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion IABP after emergency coronary re-canalization in the treatment of AMI combined with CS can reduce the myocardial function injury of patients, promote the improvement of cardiac function, and effectively improve the clinical treatment effect and survival rate of patients. It has high clinical application value and is worthy of promotion and application.
