Effects of detailed airway nursing based on evidence-based theory combined with airway clearance technique on ventilation status and quality of life in patients with pneumonia
Objective To investigate the effects of detailed airway nursing based on evidence-based theory combined with airway clearance technique on ventilation status and quality of life in patients with pneumonia. Methods A total of 60 patients with pneumonia admitted from January 2019 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was given detailed airway nursing based on evidence-based theory combined with airway clearance technique on the basis of the control group. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in the first second(FEV1)and oxygen saturation of blood(SaO2)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of each dimension of World Health Organization Quality of Life Brief Scale(WHOQOL-BREF)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Detailed airway nursing based on evidence-based theory combined with airway clearance technique can not only improve the ventilation status of patients with pneumonia, elevate the quality of life, but also effectively reduce the occurrence of complications, which is worthy of promotion.
