Application effect of Chinese medicine fumigation and sitz bath combined with acupoint massage in patients with hemorrhoids surgery and its influence on GIQLI score
Objective To explore the application effect of Chinese medicine fumigation and sitz bath combined with acupoint massage in patients with hemorrhoids surgery and its influence on Gastrointestinal Quality of Life Index(GIQLI)score.Methods A total of 100 patients with hemorrhoid surgery admitted in our hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects,and the patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,and the observation group received Chinese medicine fumigation and sitz bath combined with acupoint massage nursing on the basis of the control group.The intervention effects of the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-17(IL-17),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the anal function various indexes of the two groups significantly improved,and those of the observation group were better than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the GIQLI scores of the two groups increased,and the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)scores decreased,and those in the observation group were better than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Chinese medicine fumigation and sitz bath combined with acupoint massage for patients with hemorrhoids surgery can reduce inflammatory indicators levels,promote the recovery of anal function,reduce the degree of pain,and improve the quality of life.
