Effect of Role-play combined with flipped classroom teaching method on knowledge, attitude and practice of neonatal resuscitation in nursing interns
Objective To analyze the effect of Role-play combined with flipped classroom teaching method on knowledge, attitude and practice of neonatal resuscitation in nursing interns. Methods A total of 80 undergraduate nursing interns who practiced in obstetrics department and pediatrics department in our hospital from October 1,2022 to August 1,2023 were selected for prospective study. The undergraduate nursing interns were randomly divided into experimental group(Role-play combined with flipped classroom teaching method for neonatal resuscitation skills training)and control group(traditional clinical teaching method for neonatal resuscitation skills training),with 40 interns in each group. The teaching effects of the two groups were compared. Results The scores of theoretical knowledge and attitude and belief in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The resuscitation operation score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of flexible response ability, resource utilization ability and communication and cooperation ability in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The teaching satisfaction of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The Role-play combined with flipped classroom teaching method is more effective than traditional clinical teaching methods in neonatal resuscitation teaching for nursing interns.
