Effects of Zhenyuan capsules combined with sacubitril valsartan sodium tablets on cardiac function and quality of life in patients with chronic heart failure
Objective To investigate the effects of Zhenyuan capsules combined with sacubitril valsartan sodium tablets on cardiac function and quality of life in patients with chronic heart failure.Methods A total of 104 patients with chronic heart failure admitted in our hospital from December 2021 to October 2023 were randomly divided into control group(52 cases,sacubitril valsartan sodium tablets)and study group(52 cases,Zhenyuan capsules combined with sacubitril valsartan sodium tablets).The clinical effects,cardiac function indexes,heart failure markers,living ability,adverse reactions and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the left ventricular end-diastolic volume(LVEDV)and left ventricular end-systolic volume(LVESV)in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)and N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of 6 min walking distance(6MWD)in the study group was longer than that in the control group,and Activity of Daily Living(ADL)was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire(MLHFQ)score of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Zhenyuan capsules combined with sacubitril valsartan sodium tablets has a significant effect in the treatment of chronic heart failure,it can improve the cardiac function,living ability and quality of life of patients,and reduce the levels of heart failure markers,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
