Effects of nursing intervention based on Rockall risk score combined with problem solving model on fear and hemostatic effect of patients with gastrointestinal bleeding treated by digestive endoscopy
Objective To explore the effects of nursing intervention based on Rockall risk score combined with problem solving mode in the nursing of patients with gastrointestinal bleeding treated by digestive endoscopy. Methods A total of 200 patients with gastrointestinal bleeding treated by digestive endoscopy admitted from August 2021 to August 2022 were selected as the study objects. The patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 100 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received nursing intervention based on Rockall risk score combined with problem solving model on the basis of the control group. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of Fear Visual Analogue Scale(FAVS)and Fear of Progression Questionnaire-Short Form(FoP-Q-SF)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The hemostasis time, fecal occult blood negative conversion time and hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, and the rebleeding rate was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of the World Health Organization Quality of Life Brief Questionnaire(WHOQOL-BREF)and Newcastle Satisfaction with Nursing Scale(NSNS)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The nursing intervention based on Rockall risk score combined with problem solving model for the nursing of patients with gastrointestinal bleeding treated by digestive endoscopy can alleviate fear, improve the hemostatic effect, reduce the rebleeding rate, and also help to elevate the quality of life and nursing satisfaction.
