Effects of structural group psychotherapy combined with high frequency transcranial magnetic stimulation on quality of life and hope level of patients with post-stroke depression
Objective To explore the effects of structural group psychotherapy combined with high frequency transcranial magnetic stimulation on the quality of life and hope level of patients with post-stroke depression. Methods A total of 80 patients with post-stroke depression admitted in our hospital from January 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the research objects. The patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received high frequency transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy+routine nursing, and the observation group received structural group psychotherapy intervention on the basis of the control group. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the World Health Organization Quality of Life-BREF(WHOQOL-BREF)score,5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)and brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of each dimension of Herth hope scale in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The structural group psychotherapy combined with high frequency transcranial magnetic stimulation applied in patients with post-stroke depression can regulate the level of neurotransmitters, improve the degree of depression, and elevate the quality of life and hope level.
