Application value of nursing intervention based on IMB theory in patients with chronic heart failure and its influence on hope level
Objective To explore the application value of nursing intervention based on information-motivation-behavioral skills(IMB)theory in patients with chronic heart failure and its influence on hope level.Methods A total of 100 patients with chronic heart failure admitted from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing,and the observation group was given nursing intervention based on IMB theory on the basis of the control group.The intervention effects of the two groups were compared.Results After nursing,the scores of each dimension of Heart Failure Self-Management Scale in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After nursing,the scores of each dimension of Herth hope scale in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After nursing,the left ventricular end-diastolic dimension(LVEDD)and left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD)in the observation group were smaller than those in the control group,and the 6-minute walk distance(6MWD)was longer than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing intervention based on IMB theory can effectively increase the self-management ability of patients with chronic heart failure,improve cardiac function and exercise endurance,and obtain good nursing effect.
