Effect of budesonide+nasal endoscopic surgery in the treatment of patients with sinusitis-nasal polyps and its influence on postoperative nasal function
Objective To analyze the effect of budesonide+nasal endoscopic surgery in the treatment of patients with sinusitis-nasal polyps and its influence on postoperative nasal function. Methods A total of 150 patients with sinusitis-nasal polyps admitted in our hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to the difference of treatment plan, the patients were divided into conventional group(nasal endoscopic surgery)and observation group(budesonide+nasal endoscopic surgery),with 75 cases in each group. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the Lund-Kennedy and olfactory function scores of the observation group were lower than those of the conventional group, the nasal cavity volume was larger than that of the conventional group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the high sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),total immunoglobulin E(TIgE)levels and eosinophilia percentage(EOS%)in the observation group were lower than those in the conventional group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 12,24 h after operation and at discharge, the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score of the observation group was lower than that of the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Budesonide+nasal endoscopic surgery can achieve ideal therapeutic effect in the treatment of patients with sinusitis-nasal polyps.
