Objective To explore the application effect of balanced cupping combined with ear acupoint pressing intervention in patients with non-organic insomnia. Methods A total of 100 patients with non-organic insomnia admitted from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects. The patients were divided into control group and traditional Chinese medicine group by random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional western medicine therapy and routine nursing, and the traditional Chinese medicine group was treated with balanced cupping combined with ear acupoint pressing intervention on the basis of the control group. The sleep quality, insomnia, fatigue degree, clinical efficacy and occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and Athens Insomnia Scale(AIS)scores of the two groups were lower than those before intervention, and those in the traditional Chinese medicine group were lower than the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of each dimension and total score of Fatigue Scale-14(FS-14)in the two groups were lower than those before intervention, and those in the traditional Chinese medicine group were lower than the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the traditional Chinese medicine group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The balanced cupping combined with ear acupoint pressing intervention on non-organic insomnia has a significant effect, which can effectively improve the sleep quality of patients, reduce the degree of insomnia and fatigue, and has high safety.
