Effect of modified Maxing Shigan decoction combined with Fengre Kechuan paste in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia in children and its influences on C-reactive protein,interleukin-8 and platelet count
Objective To explore the effect of modified Maxing Shigan decoction combined with Fengre Kechuan paste in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia in children. Methods A total of 86 children with mycoplasma pneumonia admitted from January 2019 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to the difference of treatment plan, the children were divided into control group and study group, with 43 cases in each group. The control group was treated with azithromycin, and the study group was treated with Maxing Shigan decoction combined with Fengre Kechuan plaste on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The disappearance time of fever, cough, wheezing, pulmonary rales, chest X-ray improvement time and hospitalization time in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-8(IL-8)and platelet count(PLT)in the study group were lower than those in the control group, the forkheadbox protein 3(Foxp3),maximal expiratory flow(MEF),volume at peak tidal expiratory flow(VPEF)and tidal volume(VT)were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Modified Maxing Shigan decoction combined with Fengre Kechuan paste can improve the clinical symptoms, serological indexes and tidal breathing indexes of children with mycoplasma pneumonia, has definite clinical efficacy and high application value.
