Effect of Xiaoyao Shukun decoction in adjuvant treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease and its influences on inflammatory factors and pelvic effusion
Objective To explore the effect of Xiaoyao Shukun decoction in the adjuvant treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease and its influences on inflammatory factors and pelvic effusion.Methods A total of 106 patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease admitted from February 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects.The patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 53 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the observation group was treated with Xiaoyao Shukun decoction on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of interleukin-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-18(IL-18)and intercellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and matrix metalloproteinase-2(MMP-2)level was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score and pelvic effusion depth in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Xiaoyao Shukun decoction has satisfactory effect in the adjuvant treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease,which can effectively reduce the degree of pain,eliminate pelvic effusion,regulate the body's inflammatory response,and does not increase adverse reactions.It has promotional value.
