Effects of comprehensive nursing on the improvement of abdominal distension symptoms and growth and development of newborns
Objective To explore the effects of comprehensive nursing on the improvement of abdominal distension symptoms and growth and development of newborns.Methods A total of 80 children with abdominal distension admitted in our hospital from January 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to different nursing methods,the children were divided into control group(40 cases,routine nursing)and observation group(40 cases,comprehensive nursing).The nursing effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of abdominal distension improvement in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After 3 d of nursing,the number of crying and the duration of crying in the two groups decreased,and those in the observation group were lower than the control group(P＜0.05).The excellent and good rate of sleep quality in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After nursing,the body weight,body length and head circumference of the two groups increased,and those in the observation group were higher than the control group(P＜0.05).After nursing,the cognitive scores of the two groups of family members increased,and the observation was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive nursing can improve abdominal distension of children and cognition of their family member,reduce the number and time of crying,improve sleep quality,and promote growth and development,it is worthy of promotion and application.
