Effect of hyperbaric oxygen combined with citicoline sodium injection in the treatment of ischemic stroke and its influence on cerebral oxygen metabolism
Objective To investigate the effect of hyperbaric oxygen combined with citicoline sodium injection in the treatment of ischemic stroke and its influence on cerebral oxygen metabolism.Methods A total of 100 patients with ischemic stroke admitted from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects.The patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with citicoline sodium injection on the basis of the conventional therapy,and the observation group was treated with hyperbaric oxygen on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the Barthel index score was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of neuron specific enolase(NSE)and myelin basic protein(MBP)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the levels of nerve growth factor(NGF)and brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the cerebral arterial oxygen content(CaO2)in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the cerebral extraction of oxygen(CEO2)and arterial venous oxygen content difference were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Hyperbaric oxygen combined with citicoline sodium injection has a significant effect in the treatment of ischemic stroke.It can effectively improve neurological function,elevate the ability of daily living activities of patients,and improve the levels of neurological factors and cerebral oxygen metabolism.It is worth promoting.
