Effect of Buzhong Yiqi pills combined with levothyroxine sodium tablets in the treatment of senile Hashimoto's thyroiditis with hypothyroidism and its influences on oxidative stress indexes and inflammatory factors
Objective To investigate the effect of Buzhong Yiqi pills combined with levothyroxine sodium tablets in the treatment of senile Hashimoto's thyroiditis with hypothyroidism and its influences on oxidative stress indexes and inflammatory factors.Methods From June 2020 to June 2023,80 elderly patients with Hashimoto's thyroiditis and hypothyroidism were selected as the research objects.The patients were divided into control group(40 cases,treated with levothyroxine sodium tablets)and observation group(40 cases,treated with Buzhong Yiqi pills combined with levothyroxine sodium tablets)by random number table method.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)level and T helper cell 17(Th17)/CD4+T in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the level of malonaldehyde(MDA)in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the levels of superoxide dismutase(SOD)and glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the level of interleukin-10(IL-10)in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the levels of interleukin-12(IL-12)and interferon-γ(IFN-γ)were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Buzhong Yiqi pills combined with levothyroxine sodium tablets in the treatment of senile Hashimoto's thyroiditis with hypothyroidism can improve the curative effect,promote the improvement of thyroid function and immune function,and also reduce oxidative stress response and inflammatory response.
