Effects of nursing intervention based on Maslow's demand theory combined with exercise prescription on positive attitude of disease management and morning stiffness in patients with rheumatoid arthritis
Objective To explore the application effect of nursing intervention based on Maslow's demand theory combined with exercise prescription in rheumatoid arthritis. Methods A total of 94 patients with rheumatoid arthritis admitted from August 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 47 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received nursing intervention based on Maslow's demand theory combined with exercise prescription on the basis of the control group. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of disease management positive attitude and the Rating Scale of Health Self-Management Skill for Adults(AHSMSRS)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the morning stiffness time was shorter than that of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the Disease Activity Score-28(DAS28)score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the quality of life score was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The nursing intervention based on Maslow's demand theory combined with exercise prescription can improve the disease management positive attitude and self-management ability of patients with rheumatoid arthritis, promote the recovery of joint function and the improvement of quality of life, which is worthy of promotion.
