Effects of individualized health education on cognition, behavior and compliance of elderly patients with cerebral hemorrhage living alone
Objective To explore the application effect of individualized health education in elderly patients with cerebral hemorrhage living alone. Methods A total of 300 elderly patients with cerebral hemorrhage who lived alone from July 2021 to July 2022 were selected as the research objects. The patients were divided into control group and study group by random number table method, with 150 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the study group received individualized health education on the basis of the control group. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results The proportions of compliance with medical drugs, work and rest rules, blood pressure monitoring, reasonable diet, scientific exercise and emotional stability in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of each dimension of the Self-Care of Heart Failure Index(SCHFI)in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of each dimension of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire(EORTC QLQ-C30)in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the cognitive and behavioral scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Individualized health education can improve the compliance behavior of elderly patients with cerebral hemorrhage living alone, and promote the self-care ability and quality of life of patients, which is worthy of promotion.
