Screening of immune infiltration related genes in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma based on bioinformatics
Objective The immune infiltration related genes of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)were screened by bioinformatics methods. Methods The gene expression omnibus(GEO)was used to obtain ESCC-related data sets, the different expression immune-related genes(DEIRGs)between differential expression genes(DEGs)and immune-related genes(IRGs)were screened out,and DEIRGs were subjected to enrichment analysis and protein-protein interaction(PPI)network diagram was drawn.CIBERSORT and ESTIMATE methods were used to analyze the infiltration of immune cells in ESCC.Results A total of 53 DEIRGs were screened.CXCL8 ranked first in the PPI network. The results of ESTIMATE analysis showed that the matrix and immune scores in the the ESCC group were higher;and the results of CIBERSORT analysis showed that the infiltration level of CD8 T cells was lower in the ESCC group.Spearman correlation analysis results showed that CXCL8 gene was negatively correlated with CD8 T cells. Conclusion CXCL8 is a key gene related to immune infiltration, which is closely related to the occurrence and development of ESCC.
