Effect of edaravone combined with Xuesaitong in the treatment of acute ischemic cerebrovascular disease and its influence on neurological function
Objective To investigate the effect of edaravone combined with Xuesaitong in the treatment of acute ischemic cerebrovascular disease and its influence on neurological function.Methods Eighty patients with acute ischemic cerebrovascular disease admitted from December 2021 to December 2022 were selected and divided into control group(n=40)and observation group(n=40)according to the random number table method.The control group was treated with Xuesaitong,and the observation group was treated with edaravone on this basis.The clinical efficacy,cerebral circulation dynamics indexes,oxidative stress factors level,neurological deficit degree,activities of daily living and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 95.00%,which was higher than 80.00%in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the minimum blood flow velocity(Vmir)and minimum blood flow(Qmin)of carotid artery in the two groups significantly increased,and the cerebrovascular resistance(R)significantly decreased,and those in the observation group were better than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of soluble protein-100β(S100β)and neuron specific enolase(NSE)in the two groups significantly decreased,the level of superoxide dismutase(SOD)significantly increased,and those in the observation group were better than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score of the two groups significantly decreased,the Activities of Daily Living(ADL)score significantly increased,and those of the observation group were better than the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Edaravone combined with Xuesaitong in the treatment of patients with acute ischemic cerebrovascular disease has a definite effect.It can improve cerebral circulation dynamics,decrease oxidative stress response,reduce neurological damage degree,and improve activities of daily living with high safety.
