Effect of nifedipine control led-release tablets combined with benazepril in the treatment of elderly patients with primary hypertension and its influences on vascular endothelial function,ALD and TGF-β1 levels
Objective To investigate the effect of nifedipine controlled-release tablets combined with benazepril in the treatment of elderly patients with primary hypertension and its influences on vascular endothelial function, aldosterone(ALD)and transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1)levels.Methods A total of 80 elderly patients with primary hypertension admitted in our hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected and divided into control group(40 cases, benazepril)and observation group(40 cases, nifedipine controlled-release tablets combined with benazepril)by random number table method. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of endothelin-1(ET-1)and neuropeptide Y(NPY)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the level of nitric oxide(NO)was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of ALD and TGF-β1 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The nifedipine controlled-release tablets combined with benazepril in the treatment of elderly patients with primary hypertension has a significant effect. It can improve the vascular endothelial function of patients,down-regulate the levels of ALD and TGF-β1,and has high safety, which is worthy of promotion.
