Clinical effect of Wenyang Tongmai decoction in the treatment of chronic heart failure and its influence on the prognosis of patients
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of Wenyang Tongmai decoction in the treatment of chronic heart failure and its influence on the prognosis of patients. Methods A total of 76 patients with chronic heart failure admitted from January to December 2021 were included in this study. The patients were randomly divided into conventional group and observation group, with 38 cases in each group. The conventional group was treated with conventional drugs, and the observation group was treated with Wenyang Tongmai decoction on the basis of the conventional group. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the conventional group(P<0.05).After treatment, the left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)of the observation group was higher than that of the conventional group, the left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD),left ventricular end-systolic volume(LVESV)and left ventricular end-diastolic volume(LVEDV)were lower than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).After treatment, the time to reach the end point of exercise and the maximum walking distance within 6 min in the observation group were longer than those in the conventional group, the proportion of ST segment depression>1 mm at the end point and the maximum heart rate were lower than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine(8-OHdG)and malondialdehyde(MDA)in the observation group were lower than those in the conventional group, while the levels of superoxide dismutase(SOD),total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC)and glutathione(GSH)were higher than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion Wenyang Tongmai decoction can effectively improve cardiac function and exercise tolerance in patients with chronic heart failure, and regulate serum oxidative stress indicators, which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
