Improvement effect of touch combined with chiropractic on neonataljaundice
Objective To explore the improvement effect of touch combined with chiropraction on neonatal jaundice.Methods A total of 120 neonates with jaundice admitted in our hospital from March 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the order of admission,the neonates were divided into control group(60 cases,routine nursing)and observation group(60 cases,routine nursing+touch combined with chiropractic).The nursing effects of the two groups were compared.Results After 3 d of nursing,the levels of total bilirubin(TBIL),direct bilirubin(DBIL)and indirect bilirubin(IBIL)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After 3 d of nursing,the scores of each dimension of Neonatal Behavioral Neurological Assessment(NBNA)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The jaundice regression time,bilirubin value recovery time and hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The satisfaction of family members in the observation group was 96.67％,which was significantly higher than 83.33％in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Touch combined with chiropractic can significantly relieve the symptoms of neonates with jaundice,improve neurological function,reduce the incidence of adverse reactions,and promote the recovery;the satisfaction of children's family members is high.
