Effects of enteral nutrition support on nutritional status and immune function in patients with lung cancer chemotherapy
Objective To investigate the effects of enteral nutrition support on nutritional status and immune function in patients with lung cancer chemotherapy. Methods A total of 72 patients with lung cancer chemotherapy admitted in our hospital from October 2020 to August 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the intervention methods, the patients were divided into control group and observation group, with 36 cases in each group. The control group was given parenteral nutrition support, and the observation group was given enteral nutrition support. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the levels of albumin(ALB),prealbumin(PA),transferrin(TF)and total protein(TP)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, the CD3+,CD4+and CD4+/CD8+in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the CD8+was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the levels of immunoglobulin M(IgM),immunoglobulin A(IgA)and immunoglobulin G(IgG)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Enteral nutrition support for patients with lung cancer chemotherapy can not only improve the nutritional status and immune function, but also reduce the risk of adverse reactions.
