Comparison of the effects of endoscopic metal titanium clips and epinephrine injection in the treatment of ANVUGIB patients
Objective To compare the effects of endoscopic metal titanium clips and epinephrine injection in the treatment of acute nonvariceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding(ANVUGIB)patients. Methods A total of 150 patients with ANVUGIB admitted in our hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to the order of admission, the patients were divided into control group and study group, with 75 cases in each group. The control group was treated with endoscopic injection of epinephrine, and the study group was treated with endoscopic metal titanium clip. The therapeutic effect, symptom recovery time, serum indexes and growth factors indexes were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the hemostasis time, intestinal peristalsis recovery time and fecal occult blood test negative time were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of cortisol(Cor),nitric oxide(NO),antidiuretic hormone(ADH),malondialdehyde(MDA)and angiotensin converting enzyme(ACE)in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of epidermal growth factor(EGF),epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)and transforming growth factor-α(TGF-α)in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with the injection of epinephrine, endoscopic metal titanium clip is more effective in the treatment of ANVUGIB,which can shorten the recovery time of patients'symptoms and regulate the growth factors indexes, and has higher application value.
