Effect of endoscopic and open subcutaneous mastectomy in the treatment of patients with early breast cancer and their influences on breast aesthetics and recurrence
Objective To investigate the effect of endoscopic and open subcutaneous mastectomy in the treatment of patients with early breast cancer and their influences on breast aesthetics and recurrence. Methods A total of 82 patients with early breast cancer admitted in our hospital from April 2021 to April 2023 were selected and randomly divided into endoscopic group(41 cases, endoscopic subcutaneous mastectomy)and open group(41 cases, open subcutaneous mastectomy). The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The operation time of the endoscopic group was longer than that of the open group, the intraoperative blood loss was less than that of the open group, and the drainage tube indwelling time and hospitalization time were shorter than those of the open group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse events in the endoscopic group was lower than that in the open group(P<0.05).After operation, the levels of C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-8(IL-8),carcino-embryonic antigen(CEA),carbohydrate antigen 15-3(CA15-3)and squamous cell carcinoma antigen(SCC)in the endoscopic group were lower than those in the open group, and interleukin-10(IL-10)level and natural killer(NK)cell and Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Breast(FACT-B)score were higher than those in the open group(P<0.05).The satisfaction of breast beauty in the endoscopic group was higher than that in the open group(P<0.05).Conclusion Endoscopic subcutaneous mastectomy has better effect in the treatment of patients with early breast cancer.
