Clinical effect of abdominal transverse striation small incision surgery in the treatment of children with hernia and its influence on the occurrence of postoperative complications
Objective To explore the clinical effect of abdominal transverse small incision surgery in the treatment of children with hernia and its influence on the occurrence of postoperative complications. Methods A total of 80 children with hernia admitted from March 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with traditional hernia repair, and the observation group was treated with abdominal transverse small incision surgery. The surgical effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The operation time, incision length, postoperative exhaust time, hospitalization time and postoperative spontaneous activity time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, the intraoperative blood loss was less than that of the control group, the total cost of hospitalization and the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The use rate of analgesic drugs and the recurrence rate at 1 year after operation in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the cure rate was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).At 24 h after operation, the levels of nitric oxide(NO),interleukin-6(IL-6)and C-reactive protein(CRP)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the level of interleukin-10(IL-10)was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Abdominal transverse small incision surgery for children with hernia can improve the surgical treatment effect, reduce the incidence of complications, and improve postoperative inflammatory response and prognosis.
