Effects of rigid light rod guidance on hemodynamics, success rate of intubation and occurrence of complications in patients underwent general anesthesia with orotracheal intubation
Objective To explore the effects of rigid light rod guidance on hemodynamics, success rate of intubation and occurrence of complications in patients underwent general anesthesia with orotracheal intubation. Methods A total of 80 patients underwent general anesthesia with orotracheal intubation admitted from March to December 2022 were selected as the research objects, and the patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group.Anesthesia induction was performed in both groups, the control group underwent orotracheal intubation assisted by visual laryngoscope, and the observation group underwent orotracheal intubation guidance by rigid light rod.The application effects of the two groups were compared. Results At immediately after intubation(T1)and 10 min after intubation(T2),the mean arterial pressure(MAP)and heart rate(HR)of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).T1 and T2,the levels of cortisol(Cor)and norepinephrine(NE)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).T1 and T2,the cerebral state index(CSI)of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the success rate of one-time intubation between the two groups(P>0.05);the total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The rigid light rod guidance for general anesthesia with orotracheal intubation is helpful to maintain the stability of hemodynamics and CSI of patients, reduce the body's stress response, and has low incidence of intubation-related complications, which is worthy of promotion.
