Clinical effect of anterior chamber puncture surgery combined with peripheral iridectomy in the treatment of patients with acute attack of angle-closure glaucoma
Objective To study the clinical effect of anterior chamber puncture surgery combined with peripheral iridectomy in the treatment of patients with acute attack of angle-closure glaucoma. Methods A total of 64 patients with acute attack of angle-closure glaucoma admitted in our hospital from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to different treatment schemes, with 32 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional treatment, and the observation group was treated with anterior chamber puncture surgery combined with peripheral iridectomy. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the vision in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the intraocular pressure was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the number of corneal endothelial cells in the observation group was more than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the central anterior chamber depth(CACD),peripheral anterior chamber depth(PACD)and anterior chamber angle width(ACAW)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of hypersensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Anterior chamber puncture surgery combined with peripheral iridectomy is effective in the treatment of patients with acute attack of angle-closure glaucoma,it can regulate intraocular pressure and vision, improve the width of the angle, and reduce the degree of inflammation and incidence of complications, which is worth promoting.
