Effects of nutrition nursing combined with breast acupoint massage on postpartum breast distending pain, lactation effect and feeding quality of parturients
Objective To explore the effects of nutrition nursing combined with breast acupoint massage on postpartum breast distending pain, lactation effect and feeding quality of parturients. Methods A total of 100 parturients who were admitted and successfully delivered in our hospital from May 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the order of admission time, the parturients were divided into control group(50 cases, routine nursing)and observation group(50 cases, routine nursing+nutritional nursing+breast acupoint massage). The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results At 24,48 and 72 h after delivery, the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).At 3 d after delivery, the scores of Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale(EPDS)and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of lactation in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The first breastfeeding time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, and the total incidence of feeding intolerance was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).At 42 d after delivery, the body weight and head circumference of newborns in the observation group were greater than those in the control group, and the body length was longer than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Nutritional nursing combined with breast acupoint massage can improve the breast distending pain and psychological state of parturients, elevate the lactation effect and feeding quality, and promote the growth and development of newborns, which is worthy of application and promotion.
