Effects of Wuling capsule combined with trimetazidine on cardiac function and psychological status in patients with chronic heart failure complicated with depression
Objective To analyze the effects of Wuling capsule combined with trimetazidine on cardiac function and psychological status in patients with chronic heart failure complicated with depression.Methods A total of 100 patients with chronic heart failure and depression admitted from January to December 2021 were selected as the research objects,and the patients were divided into conventional group and observation group by random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The conventional group was given trimetazidine+psychological intervention,and the observation group was given Wuling capsule on the basis of the conventional group.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the conventional group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)in the observation group was larger than that in the conventional group,and the left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD),left ventricular end-systolic volume(LVESV)and left ventricular end-diastolic volume(LVEDV)were smaller than those of the conventional group,and the Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)score was lower than that in the conventional group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP),cardiac troponin T(cTnT)and soluble ST2 protein(sST2)in the observation group were lower than those in the conventional group,and the levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)and 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)were higher than those in the conventional group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Wuling capsule combined with trimetazidine in the treatment of patients with chronic heart failure complicated with depression can improve cardiac function,and relieve depression without serious adverse reactions.
