Effect of human interferon α2b inhalation combined with montelukast sodium in the treatment of infantile bronchial asthma and its influences on immune function and airway remodeling indicators
Objective To investigate the effect of human interferon α2b inhalation combined with montelukast sodium in the treatment of infantile bronchial asthma(BA).Methods A total of 85 children with BA admitted from February 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into control group(42 cases)and observation group(43 cases). The control group was treated with montelukast sodium, and the observation group was treated with human interferon α2b inhalation on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,CD4+and CD4+/CD8+in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,CD8+was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β),osteopontin(OPN)and matrix metalloproteinase 9(MMP-9)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC)and peak expiratory flow(PEF)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Human interferon α2b inhalation combined with montelukast sodium in the treatment of infantile BA has a significant effect. It can not only improve the immune function of children, regulate airway remodeling indicators, but also promote the recovery of lung function, which is worthy of promotion.
