Clinical effect of Yinqiao powder combined with western medicine in the treatment of febrile convulsion in children
Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of Yinqiao powder combined with western medicine in the treatment of febrile convulsion in children,in order to provide more choices for clinical treatment.Methods A total of 80 children with febrile convulsion who were hospitalized in our department from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected as the research objects.The children were divided into control group and combined group by random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the combined group was given Yinqiao powder treatment on the basis of conventional western medicine.The clinical efficacy,duration of fever,duration of convulsion,remission time of respiratory symptoms,levels of inflammatory factors and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the combined group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The duration of fever,convulsion and remission time of respiratory symptoms in the combined group were shorter than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6)and high sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)in the two groups decreased,and those in the combined group were lower than the control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Yinqiao powder combined with western medicine in the treatment of febrile convulsion in children has significant advantages in inhibiting inflammation,relieving fever and convulsion symptoms compared with conventional western medicine,and has high safety.
