Effect of Wentong Zhuyu decoction retention enema in adjuvant treatment of acute attack of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease with Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome and its influences on ICAM-1,MMP-2 and MCP-1 levels
Objective To explore the effect of Wentong Zhuyu decoction retention enema in adjuvant treatment of acute attack of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease with Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome.Methods A total of 82 patients with acute attack of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease with Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome admitted from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects.The patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 41 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the observation group was treated with Wentong Zhuyu decoction retention enema on the basis of the control group.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of intercellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1),matrix metalloproteinases-2(MMP-2)and monocyte chemotactic protein-1(MCP-1)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the World Health Organization Quality of Life-BREF(WHOQOL-BREF)score was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The Wentong Zhuyu decoction retention enema in adjuvant treatment of acute attack of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease with Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome has satisfactory effect,it can inhibit the levels of ICAM-1,MMP-2 and MCP-1 and improve the quality of life of patients,which is worth promoting.
