Effects of acupoint massage therapy combined with language rehabilitation training on oral motor function and language ability of children with development delay
Objective To explore the effects of acupoint massage therapy combined with language rehabilitation training on oral motor function and language ability of children with language development delay.Methods A total of 80 children with language development delay admitted in our hospital from April 2020 to July 2022 were selected as the research objects,and the children were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group was given language rehabilitation training,and the observation group was given acupoint massage therapy on the basis of the control group.The intervention effects of the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,the scores of lip function,tongue function and mandibular function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After intervention,the scores of communicative language ability,receptive language ability and descriptive language ability in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After intervention,the scores of Gesell development scale and Newcastle Satisfaction with Nursing Scale(NSNS)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Acupoint massage therapy combined with language rehabilitation training can improve oral motor function of children with language development delay,enhance language ability and nursing satisfaction of their family members,which is worthy of promotion.
