Effects of cluster respiratory tract nursing combined with protective sleep nursing on blood gas analysis indexes and sleep state in children with neonatal pneumonia
Objective To investigate the effects of cluster respiratory tract nursing combined with protective sleep nursing on blood gas analysis indexes and sleep state in children with neonatal pneumonia. Methods A total of 96 children with neonatal pneumonia who were treated in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 48 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was given cluster respiratory tract nursing combined with protective sleep nursing on the basis of the control group. The blood gas analysis indexes, polysomnography indexes and complications were compared between the two groups. Results Before intervention, there were no significant differences in oxygen saturation(SpO2),partial pressure of oxygen in arterial blood(PaO2),arterial oxygen saturation(SaO2)and partial pressure of carbon dioxide in arterial blood(PaCO2)between the two groups(P>0.05);after intervention, the SpO2,PaO2 and SaO2 in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the PaCO2 was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before intervention, there were no significant differences in the number of awakenings, sleep latency time, rapid eye movement(REM)and deep sleep time between the two groups(P>0.05);after intervention, the number of awakenings in the observation group was less than that in the control group, the sleep latency time was shorter than that in the control group, and the REM and deep sleep time were longer than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was 6.25%,which was lower than 25.00%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The cluster respiratory tract nursing combined with protective sleep nursing applied in the clinical nursing process of children with neonatal pneumonia can effectively improve the blood gas analysis indexes, regulate the sleep state and reduce the risk of complications, which is worthy of promotion.
