Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is the most common endocrine and metabolic disorder in women of childbearing age,which can lead to infertility.This paper summarizes the relevant literature on the treatment of PCOS with mainly warm acupuncture and moxibustion in recent years,including simple warm acupuncture and moxibustion treatment and warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine,western medicine,electroacupuncture,acupoint application,lifestyle intervention,etc.Combined with the pathogenesis of PCOS,the mechanism and clinical application value of warm acupuncture and moxibustion and its compound therapy in the treatment of PCOS are discussed,and the limitations of its existence are analyzed,in order to provide more reference for clinical research.
