Prospect of oxygen therapy innovation in the treatment of heart failure
Heart failure(HF)is a common cardiovascular disease in clinical practice.The current treatment methods include drug therapy,device therapy,emerging stem cell therapy and gene therapy,etc.This article describes some pathophysiological mechanisms of HF and the role of oxygen therapy in it.In addition to the usual treatment,oxygen therapy can also be used as an adjuvant treatment for patients with HF.Future studies need to focus on individualized treatment strategies to promote the further application of oxygen therapy in the treatment of HF.Recent studies have found that microbaric oxygen therapy can improve oxygen supply to reduce myocardial hypoxia and inhibit inflammatory response,which brings a new oxygen therapy for patients with HF.This review provides clinicians with new treatment ideas,which can be used as a reference for guiding the individualized treatment of HF patients,and promote the improvement of patients'quality of life and prognosis.
