Analysis of epidemiological characteristics of 239 cases of tsutsugamushi disease in Ankang city
Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of 239 cases of tsutsugamushi disease in Ankang city.Methods The clinical data of 239 patients with tsutsugamushi disease in the electronic medical record system of Ankang Central Hospital from April 2014 to May 2022 were collected and retrospectively analyzed.Results Among the 239 patients with tsutsugamushi disease,95 were male,accounting for 39.75%,and 144 were female,accounting for 60.25%;the average age was(57.28±8.62)years old,of which 60-79 years old was the most,a total of 112 cases,accounting for 46.86%,followed by 40-59 years old,a total of 99 cases,accounting for 41.42%;222 cases were married,accounting for 92.89%.The occupational distribution was mainly farmers,with a total of 199 cases,accounting for 83.26%;the regional distribution was dominated by Hanbin district,with a total of 116 cases,accounting for 48.54%,followed by Ziyang county,with a total of 36 cases,accounting for 15.06%.The number of cases showed an upward trend from 2014 to 2022,reading a peak in 2021,with a total of 65 cases,accounting for 27.20%;tsutsugamushi disease in Ankang city has obvious seasonality,with the largest number of cases in spring,summer and autumn each year.Conclusion The incidence season and area of tsutsugamushi disease in Ankang city are relatively concentrated,and the incidence population is relatively fixed.Farmers are the main infection group,and a variety of prevention and intervention measures should be taken to reduce the incidence of tsutsugamushi disease.
